This Release Notes document describes the following details for version E15/16 of the Surfsight® Portal:
Option to configure media for Entering standby and Exiting Standby events
SUR-6282
Video and snapshot media types can be configured for Entering standby and Exiting Standby events through the Surfsight® Portal.
For Entering standby event the video recording starts ten seconds before the event, and for the Exiting Standby the video event records for ten seconds after the event. Snapshots are saved with a timestamp. Event settings can be configured per device, in bulk and through organization settings.
New webhook type for configurable data profile limit
SUR-5953
New System Message webhook subscriptions are available in the Organization Settings in the Surfsight® Portal. The webhook settings can be adjusted for reseller partners to receive messages when a configurable data profile limit has been reached. The data profile limit can be configured to send notification when the data usage is between 10% and 100% of the data profile limit. The default is 90%.
Supported data profile limits include:
-
Total bandwidth
-
Live video minutes per month
-
Video events per day
-
Video events per month
-
Recording video minutes per month
If the configured limit is reached, a message is sent to the webhook URL to warn that the configured limit for that data profile has been reached.

At kb.surfsight.net some tables are poorly formatted and may cause difficulty in reading them. We're currently working on overhauling our knowledge base and planning this fix as part of the changes. In the interim, partner resellers can refer to these PDFs in case they need a different format for better legibility. |
