This Release Notes document describes the following details for version G2 of the Surfsight® add-in for MyGeotab:
Events added to the MyGeotab add-in

The following events were added to the MyGeotab add-in:

SD card formatted: When the SD card is formatted it receives a new UUID, and the SD card formatted event is created in the MyGeotab add-in. This event is available on dashcams with firmware 3.11 or above.

Passenger unbelted: This event is triggered when it is detected that the individual seated next to the driver does not have a seatbelt fastened. This event is available on dashcams with firmware 3.12 or above.
If the passenger's seatbelt is not fastened, after 50 seconds there is an in-cabin alert, depending on configured audio or visual alerts. If there is no change, after ten more seconds an event is triggered and, if configured, an additional alert. This occurs once per hour, or if the trip is less than one hour it occurs once per trip.

Driver check-in: This event is triggered when a driver checks-in on a dashcam via QR code or with a five digit PIN code. Once a driver checks in, all trips, recordings, events, and data are associated with the driver. This feature can be enabled in the MyGeotab add-in. This event is available on dashcams with firmware 3.12 or above.

No check-in: If the driver does not check-in during the allotted time, a No check-in event is triggered. This time frame can be set for a time between 10 and 60 seconds..
The options to enable a driver prompt with a visual alert, an accompanying audio alert, and the duration of the prompt, are available in the MyGeotab add-in. This event is available on dashcams with firmware 3.12 or above.

Driver check-out: This event is triggered if the driver associated with the dashcam checks out. Additionally, if a new driver checks in while the dashcam is associated with another driver, the previous driver is checked out. This event is available on dashcams with firmware 3.12 or above.
