An Access Point Name (APN) provides information from your network provider that enables your dash cam to connect to the internet.
Note
To add an APN from a QR code, you need to have access to the dash cam, a power source, and a computer or mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.
To add an APN from a QR code:

Connect the dash cam to a 12V power source.

Open the internet network on the device you are using to generate a QR code.

Go to a QR code generator, such as this one.

Enter the following information in the Free Text box:
name=APN-name;apn=apnAddress.example.com;mcc=000;mnc=000;
Replace the text in italics in the example above with information provided by your network provider.
A QR code is generated.

Scan the QR code with your dash cam.
The APN is added to your dash cam.
