Every dash cam can only be registered under one organization. To remove a dash cam from one organization you need to delete it from the original organization and then you can assign the relevant IMEI number to another organization.
Caution
Deleting a dash cam also deletes all its data from the Surfsight Portal. Download any important data before deleting the dash cam. For more information, see Back up the SD card.
To remove a dash cam from an organization, complete the following steps:
Formatting the SD card deletes information previously saved to it and prepares it for reuse. Download any important data before formatting the SD card. For more information, see Back up the SD card.

When you are in the parked vehicle with the parking brake on, the ignition on, and the door closed, press the touchscreen of the dash cam to view the PIN screen.

Enter the default PIN 3333 to unlock the dash cam for the first time, or your own PIN subsequently.

The screen unlocks and the menu appears.

Press Settings.

Scroll down and select Format SD card.
Note
If you have any auxiliary cameras paired to the dash cam, after you format the dash cam SD card you are asked if you want to format those SD cards as well.
A factory reset restores the factory default settings and deletes the user password and user settings. The SD card is not affected.
To perform a factory reset on the dash cam:

Repeat steps 1 to 3 as described above when formatting the SD card to open the Settings menu on the dash cam.
