You can trigger an event whenever you spot an unusual incident that you want to ensure is documented. When you trigger the event, similar to distracted driving and risky events, this too is sent to the cloud. This includes documentation in-cab and road-facing. This way, you can recruit your managers to assist you later on, and they too can view the event media and related details.
To manually trigger an event, press the Event Trigger button on the dashcam.
Note
When the dashcam screen displays the Enter Pin screen, pressing the button does not trigger an event. Update for this feature is planned for firmware version 3.13.
