Troubleshooting: maps, trips and GPS

The following table suggests solutions for issues that may arise with maps:


Possible cause

Suggested solution/explanation

I see a trip that started in a different place than the location where the previous trip ended.

The dashcam did not power up or was not connected to the cloud during the initial start of the trip.

  1. Check the power connection.

The GPS icon is crossed out in the dashcam's main menu.

The dashcam is mounted in a bad location.

Verify that the camera is mounted with a direct line of sight to the sky.
