By default, the in-cabin-facing camera is turned on. The subsequent recordings in the cloud are called Rear recordings.

When you turn the camera off entirely, distracted driving alerts, video recordings, and video live streaming are not available.

Note

To turn the distracted driving visual and audio alerts off while keeping the other features available, see Set distracted driver features.

To turn the recordings off while keeping the other features available, see Set in-cabin-facing camera recordings.

The in-cabin-facing camera streams and records at fifteen frames per second.

The in-cabin-facing camera has two lenses - one for day and one for night. The night vision lens uses infrared light to illuminate the cabin.
