SURFSIGHT PORTAL C8 September 2024

This Release Notes document describes the following details for version C8 of the SURFSIGHT Portal:

Enhancements

Device Health Monitoring Improvements

SUR-7692

From the Device Health Monitoring tab, you can now view the last connected timestamp and the recording health update in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The earlier versions presented this information with relative time stamps, i.e., "the event occurred 72 hours ago".

By presenting the data in UTC, we have enhanced the readability of the data and made it easier to take actionable tasks based on the findings. UTC offers consistent, accurate, and globally recognized timekeeping. This eliminates time zone confusion, ensures precise data storage, and facilitates seamless collaboration and communication across different regions, which are crucial elements in Device Health Monitoring.

Upgraded the Aggressive Driving report and UI

SUR-7514

We added the Speed column to the aggressive driving report and UI. This data provides you with a more detailed assessment of aggressive driving behavior.

By incorporating speed monitoring into our aggressive driving reports, we are empowering drivers and fleet managers to proactively address and prevent dangerous driving behaviors and increase road safety.
