Once a dashcam has been assigned to a vehicle defined in the MyGeotab system, you can view the front and rear cameras from the vehicles in real-time. You can view the live stream from the Map or the Surfsight® Vehicles list.
The road-facing lens streams up to twenty four frames per second. The in-cab lens streams fifteen frames per second.
Note
The vehicle must be turned on and the dashcam must be online to stream live video.
To view live video from Vehicles:
Note
In order to manage bandwidth, audio does not play when live streaming.
-
From the Surfsight® add-in, go to the Vehicles area.
-
Select the Live Stream drop-down next to the vehicle you want to view.
Note
If the Live Stream drop-down is greyed out and not accessible, the vehicle is not turned on or the relevant camera is not online.
A list of all the AI-12 dashcam cameras connected to the relevant vehicle opens in a dropdown menu.
Note
For OrderNow customers who have reached their monthly live stream limit, a notification appears by the Live Stream dropdown menu.
-
Select the camera you want to view.
Note
If auxiliary cameras are enabled for the vehicle, they also appear as a live stream option.
Note
You can view multiple cameras at the same time as well.
