When you receive a new AI-12 dashcam, the SD card is already inserted. You may need to reinsert the SD card or insert a new one.
To install the SD card:

Use the special screwdriver included in the box when you purchased the dashcam to remove the safety screws that lock the protective cover over the SIM and SD card slots.
Note
A magnet under the cover is used for detection. When the protective cover is opened, a tamper event is triggered.

Insert the SD card, as needed .

Format your SD card.

When you are in the parked vehicle with the parking brake on, the ignition on, and the door closed, press the touchscreen of the dashcam to view the PIN screen.

Enter the default PIN 3333 to unlock the dashcam for the first time, or your own PIN subsequently.

Press Settings.

Select Format SD card.
