The HRN-CG13S1-A Adapter
The HRN-CG13S1-A adapter is required for certain vehicles.
NOTE: Please make sure that 24V vehicles use the HRN-CG13S1-A Adapter.
Without the adapter, possible power transients on Pin 1 for select 12V and 24V vehicles have the potential to damage the SWC chip on the GO9 device. The HRN-CG13S1-A adapter is designed to eliminate any power or signal on Pin 1 from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic port.
The HRN-CG13S1-A adapter is required for the following vehicles:
Caution
The HRN-CG13S1-A adapter is installed between the HRN-GS16K2 or HRN-GS16K22 harness and the GO device. Always use the adapter harness (HRN-CG13S1) with the GO9 (pre-V2) for heavy-duty trucks to avoid possible damage to the GO9 device.-
