Compliance and security

We strengthened encryption and integrity safeguards for stored and transmitted media, and modernized cryptographic defaults.

Transport security and certificate handling were hardened to protect provisioning and day-to-day operations.

Protections against repeated PIN attempts were improved, access to privileged settings was restricted, secure handling of media was enforced, and a secure deletion path for sensitive items was added.

The certification screen was removed from the device UI. Certification information now appears on the device label for the appropriate regional variant.
Performance and stability

Core platform components were updated to a newer security baseline with hardened services. This improves startup behavior, connectivity stability, and diagnostics in real fleet conditions, and establishes the foundation for future features.
Geofence updates

On device polygon geofence is supported, and geofence behavior was refined to improve accuracy and fit for policy driven deployments. Custom polygon creation through the Cloud API will be available in an upcoming cloud release.
