For optimum connectivity, install the router as close as possible to the dashcam.
The router must have:
support for WIFI
enough LAN ports for the number of auxiliary cameras you are installing
connections to 12V or 24V DC

To connect the camera to a router:
Most M12 network cables are rated IP67. Any connections that are outside the vehicle cabin should be protected by automotive grade conduit. This is not supplied with the auxiliary camera.
Prior to installing the router, verify the polarity of the router.
This installation must be performed by a qualified or professional person. Working with your vehicle's power system can be dangerous. Consult a professional for guidance.
Connect the M12/RJ45 network extension cable to the auxiliary camera.
The network extension cable comes in five or twenty meters.
Connect the M12/RJ45 network extension cable to a LAN port of the router.
