Once you've connected the auxiliary camera to a power source, pair it with the vehicle's dashcam. You can do this in one of the following ways:

To connect an auxiliary camera to WiFi, you need to have access to the auxiliary camera, a power source, and a computer or mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.
Note
The DC-ACE-01 Wired auxiliary camera with wrap mount and DC-ACE-02 Wired auxiliary camera with flush mount models do not support wireless connections.

Connect the camera to a 12V power source.

Open the internet network on the device you are using to set up the connection.

Turn on the WiFi connection for the camera. A new WiFi connection appears on the list: ‘IPCAM-XXXX’ (the serial number of the auxiliary camera).

Connect to the new ‘IPCAM-XXXX’ WiFi.

Enter the password 01234567.

Once your connection is set, open a web browser and navigate to 192.168.1.88.

Click PC View.

Enter admin in both the username and password fields and click Login.
The auxiliary camera dashboard opens.

From the left navigation bar, click Settings at the top.

Click Network in the sub-menu and then click Wireless.

In the SSID text area, enter the dashcam's default hotspot: Dash-XXXX. The default hotspot consists of 'Dash’ and the last four digits of the IMEI, which can be found on the camera's sticker.

Set Security mode to WPA2-PSK.

Set WPA Algorithm to AES.

In the Key text area, enter the camera's default WiFi hotspot password: 12345678.
Note
To find the AI-12 dashcam hotspot name and password you can also turn on the dashcam. Click Settings and then WiFi. Turn on Mobile Hotspot. The WiFi network name and the WiFi password should appear.
To simplify installing auxiliary cameras and pairing them with the AI-12 dashcam. download the Surfsight® View app on any Android device (phones and tablets). Up to four auxiliary cameras can be connected to a single dashcam. The app works on phones and tablets. The app also allows drivers to view their auxiliary cameras in real time.
Warning
The app is not an additional camera and must not be used as such. For example, drivers should not use the app to help with reversing a vehicle.
To pair auxiliary cameras using the app:

Install the Surfsight® View app from your app store onto an appropriate device.

From the device settings, select the auxiliary camera's WiFi.
Auxiliary camera WiFi names appear similar to: IPCAM-XXXXXX.

Open the Surfsight® app and wait until the auxiliary camera selected above is recognized.

Press
to the right of the camera.

Select Wi-Fi.
-
Enter the SSID, Encryption Type, and Password.
The SSID and Password are found in your dashcam's WiFi settings.
The Encryption Type is WPA2-PSK.

Press APPLY.
-
Press
to close the app.

Repeat steps 2 through 8 for any additional auxiliary cameras you want to pair to the dashcam.
Note
You can pair up to four auxiliary cameras to each AI-12 dashcam.

From the device settings, select the dashcam's WiFi.
The dashcam's WiFi name appears similar to: Dash-XXXX.

Open the Surfsight® View app.

Select the auxiliary cameras you want to pair with this dashcam.

Press the back arrow at the top left of the page.
A single camera view appears.

Click anywhere on the screen to see the following menu:
Press 1 to return to the single camera view.
Press 4 to view a four-tile screen with all the video streams - the dashcam's and any paired auxiliary cameras'.
Press
