The following questions are frequently asked questions about the Surfsight cloud app:

How do I change the time zone on the Surfsight cloud app?

The GPS location and time zone of the camera determine the timestamp of the videos and not the time zone of the user that controls the Surfsight cloud app.

These details are hard-coded in the software for accuracy and can't be changed.

How do I change the date and time on the camera?

The date and time are determined by the GPS location of the camera. These details are hard-coded in the software for accuracy and can't be changed.

You can change the time format of the camera in the camera’s settings menu.

I configured the camera, installed SD and SIM cards, mounted it in the vehicle and now I am ready to use it. How do I activate the device in the cloud?

You may either register a new organization by creating an account in the Surfsight cloud app or you may add a new camera to an existing organization.

What are the username and password requirements?

The username must be valid email address.

The password must contain eight characters, including one lower case character, one upper case character, one special character, and one number.

Does my password need to be reset from time to time?

No, you can keep the same password as long as you want.
