View live stream from Vehicles

Once a dashcam has been assigned to a vehicle defined in the MyGeotab system, you can view the front and rear cameras from the vehicles in real-time. You can view the live stream from the Map or the Surfsight Vehicles list.

The road-facing camera streams up to twenty four frames per second. The in-cabin camera streams fifteen frames per second.

Note

The vehicle must be turned on and the dashcam must be online to stream live video.

To view live stream from Vehicles:

Note

In order to manage bandwidth, audio does not play when live streaming.

  1. From the Surfsight add-in, go to the Vehicles area.

  2. Select the Live Stream drop-down next to the vehicle you want to view.

    Note

If the Live Stream drop-down is greyed out and not accessible, the vehicle is not turned on or the relevant camera is not online.
